General Procedures Regarding Estimates

Kitchen Planners can handle all aspects of your remodeling project from preliminary design through installation so you only have one point of contact for any of your questions or concerns. Our many references will be delighted to talk with you about their experience with us.

Listed below are some general procedures that we follow regarding estimates for kitchen remodeling projects. Note; Fees for Design/Build Services vary from the ones listed below:

1. After you have seen our showroom and we have discussed your general requirements, we will set up an appointment to visit your home. There is a minimal charge of $300 non-refundable deposit, which will be applied to the job. At that time we will take measurements and discuss your remodeling plans in greater detail.
   
2. We will develop a design based on our discussion with you. When your plan is ready we ask that you return to our showroom for your presentation. We will review the plan and have detailed pricing for you. If we are quoting installation, the labor price will be an estimate. We do not charge for preparation of the estimate. However we do not release our plans.
   
3. If we are quoting installation, the price given is an estimate. To provide you with a firm price we must send our installer to your home. At that time we ask for a deposit of $300 (to be applied to the price of the contract). If our final price is 10% greater than our estimate we will return this deposit if you choose not to proceed.
